Annual Minecraft Mob Vote

There is currently a lot of hostility around Minecraft Nob Vote (MV). Instead of a celebration for new member of the Minecraft world, it is an annual Minecraft Hunger Games where people need to fight for the winner and still lose twice over.

I bring with me the idea of three-field system for MV.

First field: The Losers, is all about bringing up the past losers and giving them another chance to win. This field is about taking away the pressure from people who would otherwise believe they would never see their favorite mob again.

Second Field: The Re-dos, is about making an already existing mob better, and giving a poor execution another try. 

Third Field: The New Guys, is all about introducing new mobs, a classic MV.

Now since MV is an annual thing, I propose there to be multiple contenders for each field. For example, with the end of Minecraft Live, a new competition starts. The Losers are filled with all the mobs that have ever lost MV, and The ReDos with all existing mobs.

Over the course of a year, people will vote for their mobs, until only one contestant remains in both fields. That is when Mojang will reveal a new Mob and the tree Fields will enter a finale at Minecraft Live.

This new MV will keep people engaged throughout the year, act as a countdown to the next Minecraft Live and keep everyone civilized as there is always the next time.

I can already imagine rooting for the silverfish underdog's fifth attempt, after loosing to Mojang's surprise contestant.
