Going near cats heals you

These cute mobs definitely deserve something special like healing you.

    I like this idea but to make it less OP it could be made more true to real life. A cat's purr is said to be healing, there's actual research to prove this. If you had to be around a cat that was on a bed and purring to heal it would make the circumstances of healing more involved than just healing by any random cat.

    Adding onto the ideas about cat purring:

    Killing creepers, phantoms or any arthropod near a tamed cat could give you regeneration like the axolotls do with underwater mobs. Maybe amethyst blocks/clusters or allays holding amethyst could amplify it and make the regeneration stronger, upto level 3.

    It could also give regeneration to the tamed mobs of the player, so cats could be used as a healer for foxes and dogs
