Given the context for the copper bulb minor controversy, and the new /tick command, I think it would be a good idea to make the tick speed of redstone as a game rule. It would be a numerical value, one that indicates how many game ticks make up a redstone tick (i.e. it would default to 2, meaning a minimum redstone repeater would take 2 game ticks to update). Redstone components that operate on odd tick intervals, such as the 3gt delay for pistons, would have their tickspeed proportionally adjusted as well. This would help bring parity to Bedrock edition, as existing worlds could have the tick speed remain as it is while newly created Bedrock worlds would have the same default redstone tick speed as Java Edition, allowing for components such as the copper bulb to function well on both versions. This would also be useful for computational redstone.
