Geckos, skin armours and worms!

Geckos would spawn in desert, jungle, and mangrove swamp biomes. Depending on the biome they spawned in, they will have different colors and shapes, such as the crested gecko variant for the desert, the tokay gecko variant for the mangroves, and the day gecko variant for the jungle. These geckos, in addition to being good pets, would shed their skin from time to time and with that skin you could craft new armor. This armor would be less resistant than the iron one but stronger than the gold one and its usefulness would be that some monsters such as creepers and zombies could not see you, so you would not have to be fighting with them. Another fact about geckos would be that they would eat apples, watermelon and another new mob that would be worms. These worms would appear in almost any biome and would be peaceful.
