The Potion of Gust would be brewed from a Breeze Rod, a unique item, sometimes dropped by The Breeze upon death. It is worth noting that since they have only three rods, they may be more rare than blaze rods.
Upon consumption or being affected, the affected entities are launched up into the air with a loud gusty noise.
Gust I propels a player up four blocks, Gust II launches them up eight blocks and finally, Gust III launches them up twelve blocks. If the number of blocks sounds like too much or too little, please leave some possible tweaks in the comments below.
The main use of this potion in combat is the fall damage, which is also its biggest detriment in exploring. Falling from twelve blocks will deplete four hearts (8 hp), meaning you can use it to catch opponents off guard and weaken them during PVP or raids. When used as a tipped arrow, the potion effect can only effect one person however.
Splash and Lingering Potions of Gust are very useful for travelling or emergencies, since you don't have to wait a little bit while drinking it. Lingering potions in particular leave a cloud of the effect behind for a short period, meaning you or your buddies can try again without tossing another potion. Or it could save you a death, from falling from great heights.
Overall, I think Potions of Gust would be very useful for combat or platforming in Minecraft They could give more incentive to fight The Breeze in The Trial Chambers. It also fits 1.21's theme of Combat & Tinkering!
