When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).
if you have redstone dust in a V shape, and put an upside down stair on top of it, the side that is visually open and you can see the dust connecting, should allow a signal up and down like normal, however the side that you can't see connected because of the quarter of a stair in the way, should be treated like a full block and not allow redstone up or down
