I wholeheartedly agree with you. Mojang should focus on appreciated, game-improving QUALITY versus controversial, game-modifying QUANTITY. Making a game better isn’t by adding something here and there, it’s about focusing on one thing to make it better, like 1.13, 1.14, and 1.16.

    Upcoming Updates

In this post I am going to propose ideas for future updates and achieve great progress of the game as a brand. Update 1.22 could be a less intense and reduced update and could be released at the end of 2024 - beginning of 2025, this update would be the TRADE REBALANCING UPDATE focused on updating and rebalancing villager trades and the possible implementation of new types from Mangrove, Mountain, Cherry Tree villages or even in bamboo areas with the new wood. Apart from this, some errors would be solved.

From this update until summer 2025, 1.23, the MOBS REBIRTH UPDATE, would be released, another very small update which would add some of the losing mobs from old mob votes, including their mechanics. The most important thing about this update 1.23 is that it would focus on correcting the reported bugs and rendering the game to the maximum and improving the code as much as possible.

Finally, in Minecraft live in 2025, for update 1.24 you could present an ambitious but possible project because you were working on the plan for the second year before and having improved the rendering of the game and code. the END UPDATE focused on improving the end as you see fit.

In short, in three updates you would add things that would help the popularity of the game since they are things that the community has been asking for for many years and would give them great joy.

All of these are just ideas, my intention is neither to force nor to guess the future.
