Certain redstone circuits, like item sorters, or honey farms, rely on exact signal values to work correctly. Sometimes it takes too much space to reduce the redstone signal to desired level. It would be great if there was a block that would reduce the signal level of the redstone dust on top of it by two instead of one. If there was such block, it would be easier to design and implement such behavior if it was a transparent block because the redstone also powers solid blocks. The copper grate block that is being introduced in the next update is a perfect candidate for such redstone behavior because it is a transparent block, and because the real-life copper is a conductive material. So basically the redstone signal would be “leaking” through this block.
