Why gatekeep the Cherryblossom Cape?

Personally, I don’t like the way the cherry blossom cape was added. Many people simply weren’t able to vote because of other things in their life, or they weren’t interested and weren’t made aware of the cape’s existence. This has leads to many (such as myself, although I have seen others on Reddit threads) feeling left out and upset that they lost their window for the cape, while thousands of others have it (this could even lead to bullying!). I think the last thing Mojang wants right now is more controversy surrounding the mob vote, so I think it’d be fair to at the very least give people another chance to receive this cape. That way, people may not feel left out (as I said, many people didn’t even know the cape existed until after the vote). Giving away capes for free to all players isn’t a new thing for Mojang (e.x. Progress Pride or Minecon Live 2019), so I don’t see how this is unreasonable. Maybe this suggestion is a bit biased, but I think it’d be nice for all of us who missed out. Pretty please?

personally I think the same, I do have the cape but I feel bad for the people that didn't know, personally I didn't even know the existance of It until yesterday, and I feel ashamed to have because I did vote Instead of not doing It as we accorded, worst thing Is that not even my mob was a added. so bad, I deserve the bullying
