In Cold Biomes, snowfall can cause snow layers to form, and can often times cause undesired or very unnatural looking terrain over a period of time.
Java Edition has the snowAccumulationHeight, which limits the height and how many layers of snow that can form during snowfall.
Bedrock Edition also has a max, but is very high and still causes bad looking terrain. It also forces the player to cover builds with strings and slabs to get rid of snow.
My suggestion: Make a gamerule in Minecraft Bedrock Edition that limits the amounts of snow layers that can build up upon a block during snowfall. This can be simply adding the Java snowAccumulationHeight gamerule, or adding a completely new one.
