This mob will just stand there glowing. But if you got too close or if a skulk shrieker is activated it will stop glowing and it will chase the player (it won’t make vibrations if attacked or attacking). They will deal 10 damage per hit and if killed they will drop a new light source that will not activate shriekers. After shrieker is triggered they will return to normal if they don’t see a player after a short delay. If attacked while glowing they will activate shriekers and become hostile too. If you kill enough of them you can get a 2.5% chance glow toe which can be used to brew a potion of skulk immunity which will get rid of the darkness effect and reduce damage by the warden.
