Hello, I wanted to share my idea on a new structure system. Currently, there are many great point-of-interests that reside in our worlds. Especially for the "explorer" type of player, These structures are exciting and rewarding each time we discover them and further pushes our desire to adventure out to find more. This in of itself is great, however I feel that for every player these structures end up becoming stale, and my aim is to fix this.
I propose that "Structure Packs " be added to world creation, much like data/resource packs. These structure packs would be collections of community made structures, each structure with their own rarity, biome and dimension dependency, average depth and loot tables. These structures would then (on world creation) be generated within that world. (Maybe even allowing specific mob spawns too)
Now I know your probably thinking "You can already do this with data packs!" And yes, while that is true, you have to have a significant amount of knowledge and know how to do so. I aim for an easy way to create and distribute brand new unique structures to player's worlds. (Maybe using the new structure blocks as well)
This new pack type would not only allow people from all over the world to experience landmarks, cultural habitats and monuments created by the people who know them so well, but also invoke a new wave of creativity among the community to construct and share their wonderful ambient builds.
