the idea for this post is to improve the trial chambers features to complete dungeon crawler perfection. i myself am really into combat and building so the trial chambers instantly stuck out when they were announced. here are a couple idea for feature that could be added to the trial chambers to make the idea of stages of difficulty more prevalent and obvious. do note though. this is a well detailed and thought out plan, so it will not fit into the post alone. if interested, continue to the comment section for more details on the update.
bosses and mobs:
the copper clad knight: this is the main boss mob of the trial chambers. when you get to it's room, it awakens and starts attacking instantly. it has a wide variety of attacks, including the basic punches where it pummels you with giant gauntlets, shield charge, which does netherite axe damage, and goat charge knockback, and spawners in which it throws a bunch of trial spawners around to room to summon hostile minions.
the hoarder: this is the overworld equivalent of a wither skeleton, but stronger. it has a slightly faster walking speed, and has two moves it can use. the usual sword slash attack with it's blade, and contracting into it's ribcage like a turtle, armadillo, or shulker.
copper golem: you have heard about the copper golem. i just thought that the copper golem would fit the coppery theme of trial chambers perfecty.
