The brand new block for the next major update for minecraft is truly exiting, yet there's so much more to improve. currently it autocraft stuff with a redstone pulse, spitting out any crafted item that's inside.
my idea is to use the locking craft slots concept for slots that already have items inside, allowing only equivalent items to get inside, preventing the last item of a slot for been crafted.
this way every auto craft farms will be 90% more compact and the crafter usage will be more easely accessible and dynamic even for people that don't understand that much of redstone components.
if the items are locked inside, the crafter should turn off when it runs out of materials, leaving only one of each per slot
