Quasi-connectivity should be added to the crafter. That is the ability for it to be powered by the block above it being powered.
In many ways the crafter acts like a dropper. They both output items in pretty much the exact same way. It make sense to give the crafter quasi-connectivity in order to keep the game consistent with itself. For experienced Java redstoners, when building contraptions with the crafter, it feels more intuitive for the crafter to be able to be powered this way. It would also make 1 wide tileable designs with the crafter much simpler, as well as making fast designs with lots of droppers surrounding a single crafter easier to power the crafter. As far as feature parity goes, bedrock redstone is already so different from Java redstone, that it doesn't really make any difference to how different the versions feel if just 1 more component had QC in Java. I think it would make much more sense to keep the game consistent with itself, than trying to stay consistent with another version of the game which is already practically unrecognizable in this part of the game (redstone I mean). For Java edition, the crafter not having quasi-connectivity seems much more unintuitive than it having quasi-connectivity.
