Dog variants 1.21

Since they are adding dog armor in 1.21 they should also add dog variants. Just like what they did with the cats. This would make man's best friend even better!

    They are wolves, though. Should have variants of wolf species.

    I actually posted this exact same idea but more detailed, for some reason mine was deleted. I definitely think this is the right time for new wolf variants I think it would be cool if we got new biome specific wolves as well as domestic dog breeds, maybe the biome ones could even have new abilities. It would also be cool if they made it so you can remove and dye dog collars(similar to leather armor) to give the collars more color options.

    They should add variants to wolves and dog breeds but also still have the original wolves and keep them tameable. Maybe even having the basic wolves like how ocelots used to be where you don’t know which dog breed you’ll get until you tame it and make it so there is a chance it just stays a basic wolf.

    Yes, I would like to see more dog skins, maybe even ones like a pug, or a corgi, or even a bulldog! That would be cool.

    Since they are specifically wolves, it may be more interesting to have dogs as a separate mob. Though it may be too much to go that route. If the extra dog variants comes with or without being a new mob, however, I think having the breeds be biome based would be very interesting and make it easier to obtain the specific breed you may want.

    Maybe not dog variations but wolf variations, similar to dogs, some brown similar to hillers, black like labradors, winter ones like husky's etc

    These are wolf varients. I really hope we can eventually breed these into actual dogs. Breed the traits, personalties and appearances, like our ancestors did.
