The Xeric Skeleton is an orange skeleton that not only lives in the desert, but it also uses a wooden axe to attack. If a skeleton dies in the desert, it has a 20% chance of respawning as a Xeric Skeleton. They can also spawn naturally. If a Xeric Skeleton hurts you, you’ll get the hunger effect. If a Xeric Skeleton stays in water for too long, it’ll turn into a normal skeleton, which is the same if it stays in powdered snow for too long. Xeric skeletons don’t burn in daylight, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t fire proof. Please add this in 1.21, and it might become a new challenge in the Trial Chambers. If it dies, it’ll drop a Xeric bone, an orange bone. If you add a water bottle to it, you’ll get a normal bone. But if you just put it in a crafting table without the bottle, you’ll get xeric bone meal, which does the amount of growing normal bone meal does divided by 2. You can also put 9 xeric bone meal to get a Xeric bone block. You can lastly put any of them in a crafting table or crafter with a water bottle to get the normal form. I’d be a great new addition to the skeleton family!
