We believe it's time to rethink the introduction of real animals in Minecraft. We suggest discontinuing mob votes for real animals and instead directly adding them to the game, as was done with chickens, cows, sheep, and pigs. This change would allow for mob votes to be exclusively for fantastic beings (e.g., Sniffer, Glare, Allay) with the first-place winner featured in the upcoming update and the second-place winner in the following one. Here's why we believe this is justified:
-
Fundamental Real Animals: Real animals like cows and chickens play an essential role in Minecraft. They provide vital resources and should be treated as core game entities.
-
Exciting Mob Votes: Mob votes have become an exciting tradition, adding unique creatures to the game. By reserving them for fantastic beings, we keep the sense of wonder and exploration alive.
-
Direct Introduction for Real Animals: Real animals should be integrated directly into the game, ensuring they are not overshadowed by fantastic mob votes.
-
First and Second Place for Mob Votes: To maintain the thrill of mob voting, we propose adding the first-place mob in the upcoming update and the second-place mob in the subsequent one, excluding the third-place mob for a streamlined update process.
-
More Innovation: With mob votes reserved for imaginative beings, developers can introduce creatures that offer new gameplay mechanics, challenges, and excitement, keeping the community engaged.
