No migration related emails received (danger of surprise loss of licence)

Tried to play today after a long while and was surprised to see that there had been a migration to Microsoft accounts and that the migration period had already ended. Luckily the post-migration process was still available. 

Would've been nice to have been informed about the migration - are MS/Mojang's mails getting caught in Gmail spam filters? Previously mail from Mojang has delivered without problems - in 2011, when purchasing Minecraft and again in 2014 when migrating to a Mojang account. 

Had I not been invited to play by a friend by happenstance, I'd have lost / robbed out of my Minecraft license in December when the post-migration process is set to end.
