Digging up Dragons

So I personally love the idea of digging up Sniffer eggs and bringing back an extinct species. I was thinking that there would be a chance to dig up a dragons egg when searching suspicious sand or gravel. Red Dragon eggs being the most common, this could be a great way for Mojang to add in dragons, as an extinct species, some may be hostile, neutral or passive. They could all have different traits, some could be small and some can giant. What do you think of this idea? Also please leave a comment.
