In Minecraft, I feel as if there is a glaring issue;
The Overworld Is beautiful, with many Biomes to explore and content to delve into, but the world is so large that it becomes an issue. With the Minecraft world being so vast, It often feels empty, with a lack of animals and wild life. So with this, I present the Weasel:
Weasels:
Weasels, like in real life, would be fearsome hunters. The weasel would hunt and eat chicken, rabbits, and if they rarely come in contact with, parrots. Though the Weasel hunting your livestock may be a issue, it would come with a slight pay back; as weasels would also hunt and attack spiders. They would come in packs, but they would not Hunt together.
Hostility towards Players:
The Weasel although dangerous to your livestock, would be neutral to players. The player can get as close as they want to a Weasel without disturbing its peace. If the player decides to attack a Weasel, the Weasel would Run and Jump around the player, until eventually attacking.
Drop's:
As the Weasel isn't hostile towards the player, It's drops wouldn't be all to special. It would drop an item called "Weasel claw." The claw would go in the players off hand, and it would be able to let players attack with the normal attack damage, but with a shorter cooldown. This item would be dropped Very rarely, and could be gained easier with the looting enchantment. Spawning:
The weasel would spawn in packs before separating after some time. The Weasel would spawn in the Forest/Plains Biome.
