TBH wandering traders are a little bit useless, so I think that It is time to fix that, at the same time, the Minecraft Java F3 and Minecraft Bedrock coordinates may be boring and kinda OP so, why don't fix that in a cool form?
My idea is to show important information at the screen by using some gadgets that the wandering trader will sell you, similar to terraria's.
Here are some trades examples:
- Compass + Something --> Coordinator
- Map + Lodestone --> Localizer
- Recovery Compass + Something ---> Soul Finder
- Comparator + Something --> Mob Counter
- Compass + Skulk sensor --> Depth Meter
- More useful gadgets for technic players that include more specific F3 features.
Items explanation:
- Coordinator: Shows X and Y coordinates at the top left of the screen.
- Localizer: Lets the players put a visual waypoint where they are by shift + right click with a compass.
- Soul Finder: Places a visual waypoint (similar to Localizer's) where you die, that disappear when you get there.
- Mob Counter: Shows players how many hostile mobs they have near.
- Depth Meter: Shows Z coordinates at the top left of the screen.
These items will work when you have them at any place in your inventory.
These items could have their own inventory slots or could be put into a bundle, this will make them to use less inventory space.
These items will drop when you die, however, If you enchant them with an special enchantment they'll stay in your inventory.
These items won't work at the Nether or the End, however, enchantments will fix that.
