I appreciate the new control scheme on mobile, however they feel a bit limited. The difficulty on mobile are both split decision touches and accuracy. The jump button is not only far at reach sometimes, but can be redundant in both tapping and scrolling. Here are some ideas I thought of that can help:
The jump button could be combined with scrolling to view acting as the mini analog stick for the new 3DS once had for more fluidity. The original scrolling is also available but holding the jump button acts as a limited scrolling option as well.
The interact button is phenominal. It could be incorporated into scrolling as a non-hostile option when closing doors, interacting with villagers, fishing, hoeing, repairing golems, etc. as it does speed up the gameplay. For combat or mobility, it can still utilize the bridging technique as for Java/PC players.
The auto-run could be toned down when players are moving, or decrease the sensitivity as an option to have more control of the character in tight situations.
The hotbar could be resized to be easier to touch on screen. Crafting options feel too stiff and possibly needs dragging options via scrolling to craft faster.
Overall, I appreciate the work and this game.
