I appreciate the fact that Mojang is trying to balance villager trades in the new 1.20 updates, but I do have a concern about the superflat worlds as they can only have one biome set to each world.
A solution that came to my mind was to connect each villager type to the surroundings it was bred in to substitute this issue (similar to frogs).
For example, villagers bred around vines would give birth to jungle villagers, breeding around lily pads would give birth to swamp villagers, etc. I'll leave a list below to give some ideas and hopefully spark some interest.
Vines - Jungle
Lily Pads - Swamp
Cacti - Desert
Acacia Tree/Sapling - Savanna
Mossy Cobblestone - Taiga (Would require to get lava/cobblestone since there's no way to get it without structures)
Layered Snow/Snow - Snow (No current way to get snow at the moment, possible future wandering trader trade?)
None - Plains
I would love to hear of any questions or feedback since villagers are such a crucial asset to any long-term Minecraft world!
