Minecraft Bedrock Edition's hopper minecarts currently collect items at 4x hopper speed, which is half as much as Java Edition's hopper minecarts, which collect items at 8x hopper speed. This causes certain storage contraptions to be noticeably slower on Bedrock, e.g., minecart-based item sorters. Bedrock hopper minecarts should be the same speed as Java hopper minecarts.
