I like the idea of neefing the villager curing system, since everyone knows the infinite emerald trades are way too overpowered. Here is where you run into a problem: not giving max enchants. Right now you currently can’t just combine a bunch of books because the anvil is going to tell you that it’s to expensive, making there to be no use in having villagers since there enchants aren’t gonna help you get good armor/tools. The enchantment books need to be max or people won’t be getting maxed out armor any time soon because of the “to expensive” message, it’s either max out the enchants or remove the “to expensive”. Another problem is the certain trades for certain village types. This to me sounds like a very good idea, since you are practically forced to explore the world more. The problem comes in when transporting the villagers is such a hassle and painful task to do. Because you need to transport the villagers to a swamp and jungle(since no villages currently exist there), transportation either has to be made easier or villages have to be made in those biomes. For the jungle the villagers can live in treehouses and in the swamp they could live on supported homes above the swampy grounds. And if the village idea doesn’t work then we need to fix transportation of villagers. With this update you’re essentially forcing people to transport them, so maybe make it easier by allowing villagers to hop on the back of a horse or maybe a camel(but then make the camel faster).
