im not a fan of the new villager changes. ill try to word it out without being like "new things scary change it back". first, i want to mention that the enchantment table is simply unreliable and exp expensive. i see villagers as the post early game way to get enchants. now, the biome specific trades: i really do not want to move villagers across hundreds of blocks just to get a different enchantment. moving villagers is already tedious. i think there should be a range of enchants a villager can have depending on the villager being a master, journeyman, like you did with the more important trades, instead of the biome. first with that, if for whatever reason someone wants efficiency 1 or 2, they would have to use the unreliable way using the enchantment table. im okay with not being able to get the highest level enchants, but the "too expensive" anvil feature should be removed. for some enchants to be unavailable, like trident and fishing rod enchants, to me tridents and fishing were already not used, now with the enchants being unreliable to get (enchantment table), they are not even a option anymore. i like stocking up on enchanted books as well, so those enchants become even harder to get. idea i just got: for the enchantment table, chiselled bookshelves could be used, and you get higher chances to get a enchant depending on how many of them are in the nearby chiselled bookshelves. also maybe reduce xp costs (out of characters for this feedback :/)
