Having to transport villagers from biome to biome in order to obtain specific enchantments is EXTREMELY tedious. Your player base has a lot of people that operate with one village at or near their home, which would be in one singular biome. Sometimes biomes are not easy to find either! In my main world, I am 8 (fully zoomed out) maps deep in exploration, and have yet to find a single jungle. When I do eventually find one, If I wanted an enchantment from that biome, I then have to transport a villager there? This is ludicrous, it sounds like something that would be a bug in a prior version. I understand nerfing the current system, making better enchantments harder to obtain WITHIN the trading system itself. I still believe that max enchanted books like Protection 4, sharpness 5, and ESPECIALLY unbreaking 3 should be obtainable in trading without combining books. This limits the scope of enchanting items to an umpteenth degree, because things will always become “ToO eXpEnSiVe” when combining. The too expensive system is perfectly fair now. But with these new changes to trading, the too expensive system is going to be a liability. I hope someone reconsiders how we nerf trading. There are some players that don’t even trade! Just making better books harder to obtain (but still obtainable) is a perfect solution. Higher emerald cost. Nobody will be a fan of any nerf in this area, but the current plan seems FAR too brutal. I’ll never see feather falling again without a jungle :(.
