The new snapshot added a rebalance to the villager trading system which causes special trades to be locked behind mastery levels and biome specific trades as well the removal of highest level enchants (ex. Protection 4, Unbreaking 3). I believe in all honesty this is the worst rebalance that could be made to villagers. I do understand that it tries to balance the ability to get almost fully enchanted armor using only villagers, but the time it takes to breed villagers and place them in a certain area takes hours, then factoring into rerolling for all of the trades you want takes many more hours. I have wasted so many hours of my life mind numbingly rerolling for the specific trades that I want to have for each villager. Making each special enchant locked behind biome specific villagers will make the whole process take an already long process and make unnecessarily longer for people trying to make villager trading halls.
The nerf to the highest level enchant will also make villagers even more unappealing to many. I believe that it is challenging enough already to get the trades you want and through this rebalance normal players won't touch villagers again. If the balance is permanent than buffs to regular enchantment tables would need to be addressed.
As someone who loves creating villager trading halls, please don't go through with the rebalance of villagers. The wandering trader buffs are a welcome feature though as they don't get much use.
