More Petals / Leaves

Two suggestions for the cherry blossom petals. One, if the pink petals could be broken upon placing a block onto them directly. Currently when you try and place a block on the spot they lie on, it won't register, you have to break the petals first. I'm wondering if theres a way to skip this in so that the petals break automatically when trying to place a block. Two, creating seasons or leaves that fall for all tree types in there biomes, just replacing and recoloring the pink petals as the right color for each type.

  There’s not a way to place blocks on pink petals without breaking them first, I find this annoying too. I have made a suggestion to Minecraft.
