It's really a hassle if you are trying to temporarily ban someone on a server. I don't want to download plugins or any of that stuff so maybe implementing it into the base game when hosting a server would be nice. How it might work would be /tempban <player> <amount> <seconds|minutes|hours|days|etc...> <reason>
Also a temporary mute system would be nice if you don't want to ban or kick someone. It might work like /tempmute <player> <amount> <seconds|minutes|hours|days|etc..> <reason>
I am suggesting these because me and my friends created a server and one of them just kept spamming. But I also felt bad for un-whitelisting and kicking him when I wanted the spamming to stop. It would be nice for temporary bans because instead of actually banning, it's just to let them know what they did and how long it will last. Temporary mute also would be so if they are working on something, they won't get interrupted or get booted off the server while also having them stop spamming.
Just a suggestion. It might be a duplicate but when I was searching I didn't find anything similar.
