Leather Armor Trims

I think it’d be quite neat to have dyed leather be used for more trim colors. A way to do this could possibly be dyeing leather in a crafting table and then applying it in a smithing table as normal. This could also open up possibilities for dyed item frames, crafting armor with differently colored leather items and then interpolating the hex values like how firework crafting works, and colored books. Do correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this wouldn’t be extremely difficult to do since firework crafting, dyed leather armor, and armor trims are already in place.
