The Cloud Dimension

The Warden Head found in the centre of ancient cities largely resembles a portal, however it serves no current purpose. The discussion for a “Sky Dimension” has been open for a while and I think this is the perfect way to implement it. Going from the deepest and scariest part of the overworld to an almost magical and safe dimension found in the sky, I believe it’s a perfect contrast between the two environments and could even solve the issue of a lack of features in end-game. By making the portal only accessible with a certain item found post enderdragon fight it might encourage players to explore their worlds further. I’m not completely sure what the dimension would contain but a new tameable pet would be a good addition. It doesn’t necessarily have to be sky based but maybe the antithesis to the Deep Dark. This is my first suggestion so I don’t know if this is good or even possible aha. This is just a loose idea but I feel like it could be tweaked to make it more vanilla and suitable for Minecraft.
