make the sun a raycaster for realistic lighting in vanilla minecraft

make a setting to make the sun instead of just checking if a block is there it should raycast a number from 1 - 1048 (ajustable in settings) and every block would be checked for holes and openings light can come through ... at max this would need some supercomputer to play but at like 64 or 32 it would make light realistic and work very well with custon textures
