Dyed leather armour with no un-dyed sections

It bugs me greatly that when you dye leather armour, there's always certain parts that stay with the normal leather texture. In my oppinion, it simply looks ugly and with the new armour trims and considering the fact that the entire feature of leather armour dyeing it about your appearance, it would make a lot of sense for the entire piece of armour to be dyed, to create a more personalised look.
This can be achieved with a resource pack, yes, however that is only a solution for you; unless everyone else downloads that resource pack, you'll be the only one who can see your new outfit, which kind of defeats the purpose.
At the moment, the normal leather coloured parts make it practically useless unless you're using it to distinguish between teams in a minigame
