There are nether fortresses in the nether, so why not in the normal minecraft world? These are made out of stone, can be ruined or not, can contain villages near them, and have special types of armour / weapons. (EX: Spear, Iron shield, Cannonball launcher, ect.. ) They can also come with cities. There can be a dragon. Also, there can be throne rooms, courts, and storage rooms.
