villager curing for lower prices is op and should be nerfed ive seen the other suggestions saying that curing should have a cooldown before prices return to normal but i have 2 ideas that could have a similar effect.
idea 1: villagers only have a 100% chance to respawn after being cured on easy difficulty and hard difficulty doesnt have 100% chance
idea 2: villagers can only be converted and cured a set number of times before they cannot be cured ever again, this puts a hard cap on the size of the discount you can get on a villager. this deterioration/corruption rate would change based on difficulty (less total conversions on hard more total conversions on easy)
due to the existance of raid farms and other very efficient farms for items that villagers trade those farmed items these ideas dont really matter in the late game. But in the early game these changes slow down the players ability to obtain cheap high value items and may make mining in the early game more appealing than enslaving the population of the first village that you see.
