Villager Guards.

What if there was a weapon and armor rack that can be placed in a village similar to other workstations that villagers can interact with, and any weapons and armor a player puts on it, a villager will use to become a village guard? And as the villiager gets xp from mobs, the villager could get better at fighting off mobs by ranking up similar to how traders rank up from trades?
