Frog Lights are beautiful blocks, but the means of getting them are twisted and ridiculous. If frogs cannot safely eat fireflies, then it's downright cruel to drag a water-based creature into the Nether, where there is no water, and force them to eat living cubes of magma. Transport between dimensions is very difficult, especially with the Nether being such a hostile place, and will deter most players from ever getting to enjoy Frog Lights - so these blocks are largely wasted.
The answer: Phosphorescent Slime, aka Glow Slime, which spawn below level 0 in place of normal slime. Frogs that eat this variety of slime will also create Frog Lights - end of story. This is still difficult, but far more achievable and less cruel since slimes exist in damp environments. Maybe have the Magma Cube variety produce a "burnt orange" colored Frog Light instead.
If you want to have Magma Cubes as a food, then add Nether Frogs to Warped Forests, which are lacking in wildlife compared to Crimson Forests.
Addendum: Slime should drop 0-2 random treasure items when they are slain, from having absorbed them into their gelatinous mass during travels. Maybe a rare drop is a Frog Light.
