New items:
* Falconry gauntlet - allows the player to tame and access the inventory of birds (crafted using 2 rabbit hide and 1 of any kind of seed in a horizontal line)
* Aviary/Cage - used by birds in a similar manner to beehives, though with a hopper-sized storage slot for items brought to the cage by tamed birds (crafted with 3 copper ingots along the bottom and a crescent of 5 iron nuggets over the top, with seeds in the centre square)
* New feather variants - for example, sleek feathers, flashy feathers, waxy feathers - dropped by different bird mobs and give arrows differing properties when used in a fletching table (such as block-piercing, stunning mobs, or more efficient shooting underwater)
New mobs:
* Owls - birds of prey who can be commanded to hunt chickens, rabbits and other small mobs, bringing the loot back to their cage (spawns in taigas, snowy taigas, deserts and forests; bred using rabbit meat)
* Pigeons - Can be given up to a single stack of any item by the player and will deliver this back to their cage (spawns in forests and around plains villages; bred with seeds or bread)
* Ravens - will seek out and give player coordinates for nearby structures, though only one at a time; does not interact with cage, instead following the player overhead if not made to sit (spawns in dark forests and around tundra villages; bred with rotten flesh)
* Additional species could also be added such as vultures and waterfowl, adding a new layer of detail to biomes.
