Minecraft graphics-wise is not very intensive and seems like a game that could run on an old and a not very beefy computer. Yet its performance is much worse than even some of the newer and more graphics-intensive games. It's definitely not a hardware issue for me. My PC has Windows 10 with a Ryzen 5600 processor, 16GB of DDR4 memory, and a Radeon 6600. This is much better than my old PC which had the RX 560, 8GB of DDR3 memory, and AMD's old FX 6300 processor. While surely, users with overkill PCs can run Minecraft without any mods at a higher FPS than 60, I think that Minecraft should not be as demanding as it is. I feel like any unnecessary lines of code or any extra or non-needed could be remove to optimize performance for Minecraft to be in a place where it should be, because it should NOT be this power hungry with your RAM, GPU, or CPU. I hope this is brought to light and my post is recognized by a Minecraft devs and even the higher ups at Mojang/Microsoft. Because if it's fixed, maybe more people will be able to play it on newer versions who have weaker computers. Thank you user, whoever you may be, for reading this.
