The loading screen fade animation makes the UI feel unnecessarily slow, especially for long time players who are adjusting their visual settings or resource packs.
Both Minecraft the game and it's UI has had a reputation for being simple and snappy. However animation has always felt like an opposing force, especially since it's only a visual flair preventing interaction until it has fully come to pass. The popular mod used to remove this feature in Java has 3.5 million downloads as well.
A simple toggle in accessibility would be a much welcome feature, much like how the Monochrome Logo toggle is a simple yet awesome quality of life option.
