IPv4 has run out and ISPs are providing shared IPv4(NAT/CGNAT) which makes it impossible to host Minecraft due to open ports.
So the output is IPv6 which is supported by the game but disabled by the launcher when running the game.
To solve this just put when running the game from the launcher:
-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=false -Djava.net.preferIPv6Addresses=true
