I believe that you should get rid of the Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template because this changes a very crucial part of the game and makes people spend more time doing pointless stuff to upgrade a piece of armor or a tool. I know many people who dislike this add to Minecraft and we believe that you are ruining your game with this pointless item. personally, I am fine with every addition to the game in this update but this one item, yes the trims are cool would I use them no but it is a nice touch. Also, just 3 extra thing is to let us put banners on shields in bedrock and make the crossbow and the wither the same from Java. So please read this and think about what you could do to make the majority of the people happy. Something you could do is create a poll and see if people like the change to Netherite upgrading. If you read this thankyou and hopefully this change something in your head to take this out of the game.
