When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Powered Red Slime Block

This block is crafted from five redstone dust and four slime balls, in a checkboard pattern.

When an entity collides with a Red Slime Block, how much speed the entity has after bouncing off depends on the Redstone Signal strength of the Red Slime block.

The new speed after bouncing equals the old speed times the redstone signal strength divided by 14.0

Players, mobs, and items can bounce off of any side of this block, not just the top.
