The “Plane”

This idea would be called the Glider, and would basically be an elytra that you can ride on. It would be crafted by placing an elytra in the middle, 2 banners (same color, color is the same color as the Glider when crafted) and a carpet (any color) to sit on. There hold be another version that has a dispenser at the bottom middle, and can be fueled with rockets to work the same as an elytra. When the Glider is built, it can be placed anywhere and is dismantled like a boat, and you can attach a chest or have a buddy/creature ride with you. If you crash the Glider too hard, it is broken and you receive only an elytra that takes 50% durability (if it had less than this to begin with, it breaks). Otherwise, then Glider has no durability. All in all, it would be a great addition to make it function like a Minecraft item, and be close to a plane while still maintaining the fantasy theme.
