The average Minecraft player may not care about commands and settings and stuff. But you should still upgrade your command system like having a built in anticheat that you can turn on/off so that you don't have to use a behaviour pack or use other commands for an anticheat that may or may not work. Another would be making the /setmaxplayers limit to 100. A ban / temp ban system, being able to see others inventory and modifying it. Some people make minigame worlds and other stuff and want many players. Also adding accessibility features such as Left handed mode, subtitles, high contrast ui, and other things from java to bedrock. Also, another thing that both java and bedrock should have is a dyslexic font, kind of like Google's "Open Dyslexic" font. Mostly just miscellaneous updates that. Most important of all: Being able to change texture packs w/o leaving the game (bedrock), and being able to change skins during game (java). Just some ideas.
