Ability to Dye Pottery Sherds/Shards

You would be able to dye a sherd x color and its pattern would also be x color. this would only apply to the darker portions of a pot and would be interesting to see added.

  Would the coloring apply to the darker part of the design, or the lighter part of the design? Or would it be both with a difference in shade?

  You would be able to put a sherd with a dye into a crafting table and still make a nice pot. In the original announcement of archeology, it all was colorful and actually something you'd want in your house. Now, it's brown and kind of ugly if I'm honest.

  They should make it so that you can dye the shards so only the dark part of the pot is painted -- but also dye the rest of the pot too. It'd be super cool to have a black pot with white or maybe golden (yellow) designs.
