A Villager Job Manager is a feature in both Minecraft Java and Bedrock editions that could allow the player to essentially manage and/or change the jobs of villagers. This feature would include a tool in the game that could look like a wrench and when you would right-click a villager job site block (barrel, smoker, compost bin, lectern, etc) with the wrench, a UI prompt would come up. The prompt would show icons of all nearby villagers within a 100-block radius that could take the job. To the left of a villager's icon, if they have a job already, their job title would be listed and if not, it will say "No current job". And to the right of a villager's icon would be a button that says "Assign job". If trying to assign a job to a villager who already has a job, a warning prompt will appear asking if the player is sure about assigning a different job to a villager. The player could pick yes or no. If "yes" is picked, the villager would lose their old job and be assigned the new one. If "no" is picked, the warning prompt will close and the villager will be unaffected.
Why? I love to build in Minecraft and I use blocks such as barrels for decoration. When I decided to build a village in one of my worlds, I had trouble with villagers and them trying to constantly become fishermen (because of my decorative barrels). Also, barrels weren't the only blocks I was having trouble with and this is why I would love to have something like what I had described as a real feature.
