Enhanced Sniffers

ENHANCED SNIFFERS

  • Has anyone ever imagined a pre-historic world? Where the 4 great ancient mobs used to rule the world? Obviously, we know that the Sniffer was one of them. But the Sniffer being one of the 4 great ancient mobs having little to no purpose!? We can't let that happen! So, I am here to share an idea for the Sniffers to be greatly enhanced!


NEW ABILITIES

  • Shearable Sniffers, they would drop some Moss Blocks.
  • Able to sniff out more plants, Examples: Roses, Raffoldii (based on Rafflesia Arnoldii), and etc.
  • Moss drops, If killed, it will drop up to 2-4 Moss Blocks.
  • Food source, The mobs of the past must have a reason to hunt the Sniffers, right? That is because of Raw Sniffer! Can be cooked to become Cooked Sniffer.

LORE

  • There once was a warm world filled with plenty of Moss (ancient grass) surrounding the whole Overworld, in which lived the great Sniffers. But then, the great Ice Age strikes, causing a mass extinction of many mobs, however luckily, the Sniffers managed to survive as an endangered species, why you may ask? Well, due to the cold winter for millions of years, the Sniffer has evolved into Mammoths, a wooly mob, originally a variant of the Sniffer. Eventually the Mammoths would also go extinct after the great Ice Age, evolving into Sheeps and Goats. The Mammoth was able to be sheared for Brown wool AND ONLY BROWN WOOL. Unless if you have some dyes of course! If killed, they would drop 2-4 Wool blocks and Raw Mutton.

    I’ve analyzed the sniffer and it was likely highly poisonous to eat due to the apparent lack of defense and bright warning colors of gold red and blue very common colors for poisonous animals. It was also likely the rhino of it’s environment being to big to be hunted. 

    And as a side note the devs call it a peaceful mob, insinuating that the sniffer was just so fluffy and untouchable that predators say “What the Fates of the Well! No! Not hunting that!”

    Also studies have found that mammoths were likely black not brown
